Stefani Westphal Vonesch

Vice President Stefani Westphal Vonesch has been a member of Ocean Custody since 1993. In 2001, she was elected to the Board of Directors, and since 2003, she has been serving as Vice President of Ocean Custody. She has been in charge of donations and financial administration since 2014. She studied zoology for a few semesters and pursued a marketing career. Today, she runs a family business for interior design with her husband. Animals are Stefani Westphal Vonesch's great passion. She is a devoted breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a breed of dog found in Southern Africa. She is fascinated by that part of the world and got to know and protect the wild fauna and flora in the bush during her ranger training. Stefani Westphal Vonesch is also drawn to the water. As a child she snorkelled extensively in Lake Zurich, later she became a scuba diver and diving instructor. She discovered a world full of wonders beneath the surface of the sea – and realised how threatened it is. Through her involvement with Ocean Custody, she is helping to preserve what is close to her heart.
