Ocean Custody: Das Meer ist unsere Welt

Ocean Custody
The ocean is our world.

For healthy living oceans.

The ocean covers more than 70% of the earth’s surface. It is home to millions of fascinating animal and plant species – many of which remain undiscovered. The vast scale and phenomenal biodiversity of the marine world fills us with amazement and holds us spellbound.

However, the marine ecosystem is being thrown out of balance because humans are leaving their indelible mark on it. Plastics and loud noises pollute the underwater world, many fish have been overfished, and numerous marine mammals and other wildlife are still being killed today.

OceanCare has been raising its voice on behalf of marine life since 1989. The international marine conservation organisation, based in United Kingdom, holds Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and contributes to Agenda 2030 and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Drawing on our deep passion, in-depth expertise, dedication and perseverance, we are committed to healthy living oceans. Your support makes our work possible.

Thank you for being at our side.
